The opening and closure of the burckhardt’s glide sliding elements is comfortable, secure and easy to handle.
The design of the high-quality window handles fits – for all closure options – ideally with the clear form language of the filigree middle profiles. Whether sliding element or fixed glazing – we aim at a clear and puristic overall look with a visible width of only 38mm.

Edge lock

The edge lock is used for the manual operation of sliding doors ending at a wall on one side.

The door is opened by sliding an aluminium handle upwards which unlocks the multipoint locking.

A continuous handle bar allows an easy and comfortable operation of the sliding door.

Corner lock

The corner lock makes a free exit without disturbing pillars possible. When using this, the opening sequence of the first and second wing must be defined in the planning phase.

The door is opened by sliding an aluminium handle upwards which unlocks the multipoint locking.

A continuous handle bar allows an easy and comfortable operation of the sliding door.

Centered interlock

The centered interlock makes the opening of two sliding wings in the same level possible. The comfortable operation of the sliding door is made possible by continuous aluminium borders. The multipoint locking can be unlocked by a small aluminium handle.

Hidden middle lock

The hidden middle lock is especially unobtrusive and fits perfectly into the overall picture of the sliding door system. There is no difference between locking profile and fixed post profile – all profiles have the same visible width.
The hidden middle lock is operated through a handle shell. This lock can optionally be equipped with a shootbolt.
